Prepare Your Baby

Warm Up – interact with your baby, do some gentle stretching to get the blood flowing.

feed – It is best to feed your baby approximately 40 minutes prior to water activity.

rest – make sure you little one has a calm stomach and some fresh energy.

put on the Swimava ring – one caregiver supports the baby while the other fastens the ring. Remember, handles are for infant use and go on the bottom! If using a Starter Ring, make sure the infants chin in on the ‘chin rest’ area. If using a Body Ring, make sure the infants arm pits are on top of the ring. Always adjust before putting your infant in the water and ensure both buckles are fastened.

watch for signs from your baby – pay close attention to your infant for signs he is ready to finish bath / swim time. Your infant will certainly let you know when he has had enough.
